Michael was born in Surrey
in 1943. After leaving Farnham School of Art he became a successful
graphic designer, artist and illustrator, and has enjoyed a long career
as a painter producing landscape and portrait commissions for both private
clients and multinational companies. In recent years he has specialised
in fine art and regularly exhibits his landscape and portrait paintings
in galleries from London to the West Country. He now lives and works in
West Dorset and, although as a local artist he’s
become much sought after, still maintains his links with London and the
South East.

Michael is equally at home working as a portrait and figure artist, nature
and landscape painter, or working in the field of speed and power machines.
Due to his versatility he has the ability to overlap from one discipline
to another across a wide range of subject matter, applying a variety of
painting and drawing techniques. He finds that the different areas compliment
each other well and keep
his work fresh and exciting.
